The Hawaiian Heritage and Environmental Sustainability Fair
M5RWEVD2XER2 Saturday, April 17th, The Hawaiian Heritage and Environmental Sustainability Fair will be held in Paia, featuring sustainable companies and projects from all over the island. For more info on the event itself, go to the MAUIVENTS blog.
In this blog, I’m just going to do a quick run-through of some of the organizations that will be at the fair, to give everyone a taste of what it will be like.

Upcountry Sustainability is a group of upcountry people meeting weekly to talk about and take action to forward the sustainability of Upcountry Maui. Join them, Monday evenings (700-830) at Haleakala Waldorf School’s Christopher Hall. Check out their blog.
Ko’ie Fish Pond – There are lots of opportunities to volunteer and help maintain our islands’ fishponds.
